Why is Pass Plus important?

A large percentage of accidents involve newly qualified drivers, Pass plus enables you to
reduce your risk, gain experience and save money!

What is involved in doing Pass Plus?

You will cover various types of driving in different circumstances set out over 6 modules,
These include - Town Driving, Night Driving, Motorways, Country Roads, All weather
Driving (usually a theory session) and Dual Carriage ways.

Will I have to pass a test?

There is no test to sit. Your pass plus instructor will fully cover the pass plus syllabus and
make sure you achieve the standard required.

How much will it cost?

The Pass plus course costs £135,00 and is usually carried out over 6 hours.

Apart from extra valuable driving experiences, are there any other benefits?

Pass Plus is backed by insurance companies, the government and the Police Road Safety Unit.

Many insurance companies offer discounts to anyone who has done Pass Plus (often 1 years
no claim discount) and anyone living in West Lothian can receive £55,00 cash back from
Lothian and Borders Police Safety Unit upon completion.
